As soon as my second child was born I knew something wasn’t quite “right”. Her body was incredibly stiff and it was very hard to dress her. She could not keep a bottle of formula or breastmilk down and was spitting up very large quantities after every feed. To make things more stressful she was struggling to gain even an ounce of weight in 6 weeks.

Being a first time mom, I had heard from multiple people that breast feeding was a “learning curve” and was going to hurt at first. When we got home, everything changed. My daughter was not gaining weight, even though she was nursing for an hour straight and it was hurting so much!
