Pediatric feeding therapy

Is your toddler a picky eater? We can help.

If your toddler won't eat, refuses entire food groups, or turns every mealtime into a meltdown, you're not alone, and it's not your fault. Many picky eaters aren't just being stubborn; they may be experiencing real sensory or behavioral feeding challenges that make trying new foods genuinely difficult.

At BabyEase Therapies, we specialize in pediatric feeding therapy for children ages 1–5. Our goal is simple: to help your child feel safe, confident, and comfortable at the table and to make mealtimes less stressful for your whole family.

Signs Your Child May Need Feeding Therapy

Our feeding therapy is designed for toddlers and young children who:

— Refuse to try new foods or only eat a very limited diet
— Gag, cry, or melt down at mealtimes
— Avoid certain textures, temperatures, or colors of food
— Show signs of ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
— Are picky eaters whose habits are affecting their nutrition or family life

Whether your child is a selective eater or has been evaluated for ARFID in children, our therapist will meet them exactly where they are.

The Approach

How We Help Picky Eaters Build a Healthy Relationship With Food

My approach to picky eating is rooted in occupational therapy and play. Rather than forcing or pressuring children to eat, we use gentle, play-based techniques to gradually expand their comfort with new tastes, textures, and routines.

As a pediatric feeding specialist, I work one-on-one with your child and with you so you leave every session with real strategies you can use at home. OT for picky eaters isn't about getting your child to eat everything. It's about helping them build a healthy, stress-free relationship with food.
